Carob powder creates a light cocoa-brown to deeper chocolate-brown shade, depending on how much you use and the base you mix it into. It works best in lighter bases like plain yogurt, goat milk yogurt, or white decorating icing. In darker mixtures, the color will appear more subtle.
 
How to Use
Start with ⅛ teaspoon per 2 tablespoons of yogurt, icing, or enrichment base. Mix well, let sit for 1–2 minutes, then add more a small pinch at a time for a deeper brown color.
